A sinkhole opened up smack dab in the middle of a pool party in Israel, draining the entirety of the pool in a matter of seconds.

In the clip, we see onlookers standing and watching in shock as the pool and all of the funky pool toys are sucked into a gaping maw of oblivion. Unfortunately, one unlucky partygoer was reportedly swallowed up by the sinkhole moments before the video starts. A man can be seen approaching the sinkhole -- after nearly slipping into the abyss himself -- and seeming to reach out for said person.

Reportedly, a second person was swept into the sinkhole but managed to rescue themselves -- albeit while sustaining injuries to his head and limbs. Local emergency services have expressed concern that more sinkholes could open in the area and have warned people to be on guard. How one stands on guard for a possible sinkhole is beyond me.
